We have another great speaker for our monthly meetings! Lee Finley, a world renowned authority on catfishes, will be giving a presentation on Corydoras catfishes. Besides being a longtime member of the club, Lee just completed a long run writing the Catfish Corner column for Tropical Fish Hobbyist and gave the keynote address at last year's Catfish Convention. Ironically enough, my kids know him as the famous guy they met at last year's fall fish show with a Cichlid (Chromidotilapia finleyi) named after him. In addition, Lee is a great source for aquatic books (especially old and rare ones) and can always be found at our auctions. Also we have the elections coming up! And don't forget about the bowl show, BAP and raffle. |

After a long absence, the bowl show returns to our monthly meetings! Russ Nordgren has been kind enough to take up the role of bowl show chairperson, so on your way out to our meeting, grab your favorite fish that matches the monthly theme and have some fun! Of course, make sure you check out the current bowl show schedule, frequently asked questions and rules. |
